Trainer was advised that FEELING FRENCH must trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing again. The rider of TRUE AMBER reported that the saddle slipped forward shortly after the start. Near the 800m ON THE RIGHT ROAD brushed with SONINSKY COMMANDER. TAFF'S BOY lay out throughout. ROSE OF OAKFORD lay in under pressure in the straight.

Apprentice stated that the gelding appeared sore in running and despite his hard riding, the gelding failed to respond. Trainer could offer no explanation. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be slightly distressed and dehydrated. Trainer stated that ALL IRISH would now be sent for a spell.
