Stewards Comments: SUMMER GAMES bumped shortly after the start and carried wide. Brushed and became unbalanced at the 350m. MARDELLA FLYER over-raced in the early and middle stages. SAVANNAH SHADOW commenced awkwardly. UMAAR brushed at the 350m. COMPARISON slow to begin. When questioned, rider advised that in his opinion the filly had felt the effects of today's high temperature. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that he would monitor the recovery of the filly on return to the stables and advise Stewards of any abnormalities. Further he undertook not to start the filly in a race for a period of two weeks.
Stewards Comments: MARINE DRIVE lay outwards under pressure over the final 100m. BLUE'S GUITAR a post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off fore. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. CURRENCY LAW shifted outwards and raced wide from the 1100m. NEIGE carried outwards at the 1100m. TELEXDEN slipped on jumping.
Stewards Comments: NOLLAMARA scrambled on jumping. REVOLITION lay inwards over the final 100m. COME HOME SOBER a post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. DARNTIME lay outwards in the straight. KASABIAN over-raced in the early stages.
Stewards Comments: DARE TO BE GREY fractious in the barriers prior to the start and then commenced awkwardly. PEARLER bumped shortly after the start. BASKERVILLE STREET bumped on jumping. Held up from leaving the 450m until approaching the 200m. BERMAISE bumped on several occasions at the 600m. Steadied at the 450m. GUSTY GIRL slow to begin. Had difficulty in obtaining a clear passage over the final 200m. I AM LUCKY bumped on several occasions at the 600m. Made the turn into the straight wide. STATUESQUE raced wide throughout. SUDDEN CITY raced wide from the 650m.
Stewards Comments: OSCAR WILDLY slow to begin. UPGRADE knuckled on jumping, unbalancing its rider. Raced wide throughout. BECKS over-raced in the early stages. DANTE'S BANQUET slow to begin. Over-raced in the early and middle stages. When questioned, rider stated that he had anticipated racing in a forward position, however the gelding had slipped behind on jumping and as a consequence he was obliged to race back in the field. FEINT scrambled on jumping. DANEDIDN'TDOIT steadied at the 1200m. Restrained at the 200m when disappointed for a clear passage and then taken outwards to obtain clear running. ROCKING THE BLUES raced keenly getting its head in the air leaving the 1000m.
Stewards Comments: KENNEDY raced wide throughout. PRINCE OF SANDS impeded for clear running between the 300m and the 200m. SPLIT THE SCENE impeded passing the 200m. LEWIS SAUVAGE on arrival on course the gelding was examined by the Club's Veterinary Officer and found to have a superficial laceration to the left cheek. On straightening until the 100m was impeded by a tiring runner. MA CHIENNE when questioned, rider advised that from its barrier position he had elected to ride the mare back in the field, as is its usual racing pattern. Approaching the 600m he had commenced his run and had circled the field. In the straight the mare had continued to run on but had peaked at the 200m.
Stewards Comments: BRAVA FORTUNE bumped at the start. VALENTINE MISS raced ungenerously in the early stages. Trainer advised that he intends to remove the blinkers from the filly in an attempt to improve its racing manner. EXQUISITE TIMING bumped at the start. ALL CLASS a post race Veterinary examination revealed the filly to be suffering heat stress. TIMELY QUEEN when questioned, rider advised that he had been instructed to lead on the filly which it had attained easily, however when attempting to settle the filly got its head in the air and commenced to over-race. Under these circumstances he elected to allow the filly to run along as when attempting to restrain it, the filly had continued to race fiercely getting its head in the air. Trainer confirmed these instructions and advised that he would now send the filly for a spell and on resuming racing he would remove the blinkers in an attempt to have it race more tractably. SILVER TEQUILA bumped at the start. Raced wide throughout. MY SWEET LIL jumped awkwardly and bumped. Trainer advised that the filly would now be sent for a spell.
Stewards Comments: MR BACHELOR buffeted shortly after the start. SNIP ESPRIT commenced awkwardly. TRANSACTION bumped shortly after the start. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have returned suffering severe heat stress. The mare received Veterinary treatment and recovered. Trainer will be contacted in the near future to discuss the racing program of the mare. EUCLASSY THING slipped on jumping becoming significantly unbalanced. HIDE THE LOOT crowded for room shortly after the start. Steadied at the 700m. CORONATE impeded for clear running between the 300m and the 150m. SHEIHALLION made contact shortly after the start and then threw its head. DANE LA BELLE over-raced in the early and middle stages. Raced wide from the 600m. FOLLOW THE ROAD shortly after the start veered outwards and made contact with another runner.
