SUMMER GAMES bumped shortly after the start and carried wide. Brushed and became unbalanced at the 350m. MARDELLA FLYER over-raced in the early and middle stages. SAVANNAH SHADOW commenced awkwardly. UMAAR brushed at the 350m. COMPARISON slow to begin. When questioned, rider advised that in his opinion the filly had felt the effects of today's high temperature. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that he would monitor the recovery of the filly on return to the stables and advise Stewards of any abnormalities. Further he undertook not to start the filly in a race for a period of two weeks.

When questioned, rider stated that he had anticipated racing in a forward position, however the gelding had slipped behind on jumping and as a consequence he was obliged to race back in the field. FEINT scrambled on jumping. DANEDIDN'TDOIT steadied at the 1200m. Restrained at the 200m when disappointed for a clear passage and then taken outwards to obtain clear running. ROCKING THE BLUES raced keenly getting its head in the air leaving the 1000m.

LEWIS SAUVAGE on arrival on course the gelding was examined by the Club's Veterinary Officer and found to have a superficial laceration to the left cheek. On straightening until the 100m was impeded by a tiring runner. MA CHIENNE when questioned, rider advised that from its barrier position he had elected to ride the mare back in the field, as is its usual racing pattern. Approaching the 600m he had commenced his run and had circled the field. In the straight the mare had continued to run on but had peaked at the 200m.

Trainer advised that he intends to remove the blinkers from the filly in an attempt to improve its racing manner. EXQUISITE TIMING bumped at the start. ALL CLASS a post race Veterinary examination revealed the filly to be suffering heat stress. TIMELY QUEEN when questioned, rider advised that he had been instructed to lead on the filly which it had attained easily, however when attempting to settle the filly got its head in the air and commenced to over-race. Under these circumstances he elected to allow the filly to run along as when attempting to restrain it, the filly had continued to race fiercely getting its head in the air. Trainer confirmed these instructions and advised that he would now send the filly for a spell and on resuming racing he would remove the blinkers in an attempt to have it race more tractably. SILVER TEQUILA bumped at the start. Raced wide throughout. MY SWEET LIL jumped awkwardly and bumped. Trainer advised that the filly would now be sent for a spell.

FOLLOW THE ROAD shortly after the start veered outwards and made contact with another runner.
