Stewards Comments:
STAR BEAU Bounded on jumping. Raced wide from the 1000m TWO PEARLS LIGHTER Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near fore. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. Trainer advised that consideration would now be given to retiring the gelding and he would advise Stewards accordingly. BOBBY BENZINE Steadied on straightening. GOD ALMIGHTY Raced wide from the 600m. LUNAR SILHOUETTE When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider advised that he had enjoyed a favourable run throughout but the filly had failed to let down in the straight. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer undertook to monitor the filly's recovery and advise Stewards of his future intentions.
