Stewards Comments:
VERDELLO BLUE Shifted outwards and bumped another runner approaching the winning post on the first occasion. AMBERS KINGDOM Raced wide from the 800m. ASK ME NICELY Raced tightly with another runner and bumped near the 200m. VIEW THE STARS Over-raced in the early stages and got its head in the air on a number of occasions. BETTER THAN DARCY Bumped and crowded getting its head in the air passing the winning post on the first occasion. Held tight and bumped near the 200m. HYDEN Lay inwards in the straight with the rider using the whip in his left hand. JACKSON ROCKS At the request of its rider the gelding underwent a Veterinary examination behind the barriers and was passed fit to start. THE MOON DAY Following the race the gelding was found to be suffering from an allergic reaction and Trainer advised that he would have it undergo a full Veterinary examination on return to the stables and advise Stewards of the results.
