Stewards Comments

BRIEFCASE slipped on jumping. SOUTHERN COSSACK bounded at the start losing ground. GAME POINT jumped away awkwardly and raced ungenerously throughout. When questioned regarding the tactics of MR. PROTOS, Apprentice stated that it was his intention to sit back in the field today as on previous occasions when he had ridden the gelding. Trainer also advised that MR. PROTOS raced back in the field as it had previously done so and it was his intention to have the gelding race in a similar position in the future.
