Stewards Comments

BRONZE LEADER was slow to begin. MASS ATTACK got its head up for a short distance shortly after the start. FIERY ROYAL was impeded for a clear run over the final 75m. Jockey David Oliver and Trainer Mr. W. Fell were questioned regarding the poor performance of STIEGER. Jockey Oliver stated that although doing a little work in the early stages, he was at a loss to explain the poor performance. Mr. Fell added that he was also at a loss, however he would not start STIEGER for a period of 14 days. A Veterinary inspection of STIEGER failed to reveal any abnormalities.
