Stewards Comments

AILURU and BARIP BOY were slow to begin. ALLZAP commenced awkwardly. Approaching the 400m NORTHERN COMMAND restrained from the tiring ALLZAP. AILURU which was following, checked and veered outwards inconveniencing KNIGHT STORM. Apprentice C. Staples was questioned regarding his ride on PINE RAD in the straight. Apprentice C. Staples was questioned regarding his ride on PINE RAD in the straight. Apprentice Staples explained that in the early part of the straight, he was held up and then after getting clear, he elected to ride hands and heels slapping PINE RAD down the shoulder and over the final 100m, he used the whip. Stewards advised Apprentice Staples that on all occasions where possible he is to show adequeate vigour when riding his mounts out.
