Stewards Comments

BEAU RANTO and BASTION BOY were slow into stride. FIDDLE THE BOOKS brushed the running rail passing the 700m and again at the 650m. BEAU RANTO raced wide from the 1000m until straightening. Trainer and Jockey were questioned regarding the unplaced run of WE'RE LEAVING. Jockey stated that from its wide barrier, he fired WE'RE LEAVING up in an endeavour to get a good position and found himself in front, which did not suit the gelding as it was better suited to racing midfield.
