Stewards Comments

Shortly after the start TUTUILA BAY stumbled badly, dislodging Jockey Damian Miller. In the early stages RIVINGTON LASS raced keenly getting its head in the air. MOVING TARGET raced fiercely in the early and middle stages. ARBITRATOR raced wide throughout and near the 550m, was bumped when ZEDAMOSS shifted out. RIVINGTON LASS was unable to secure a clear passage having to be restrained near the 250m and had to be taken outwards near the 150m. PAY STATION had a tendency to lay inwards in the straight. Near the 100m TOTALLY FOCUSED shied away from the whip of Jockey P. Knuckey (ZANADEN). Jockey Stephen Miller when questioned advised that RATHER FLUSH although leading, had been inclined to change stride throughout running and appeared to be unsettled by this.
