Stewards Comments

When behind the barriers, the bridle on PRIVATE ACCOUNT broke and had to be replaced. FAVOURITE FORTUNE was slow to begin. KIND OF MAGIC was buffeted at the start. OLD CHAP raced keenly in the early and middle stages. RAPID RANCHER raced wide throughout. Approaching the 600m FRATELLO DE BEAU shifted outwards bumping OLD CHAP out onto RAPID RANCHER. KISS SUCCESS was held up for a clear run near the 325m and when shifting outwards in an attempt to obtain a clear run, bumped KIND OF MAGIC. GROSVENOR LANE lay outwards in the straight and near the 275m, shifted outwards bumping HARRINGTON on several occasions. GROSVENOR LANE continued to shift outwards and passing the 150m, bumped GIULLIANO on several occasions. The Club's Veterinary Surgeon reported that OLD CHAP returned with muscle soreness in the near shoulder.
