Stewards Comments

MACHINE GUN TOM was slow into stride. EXTRACTS was ridden wide in the middle stages and near the 850m bumped MR. VICTORY. ACADEMUS steadied when crowded near the 150m in turn causing SIZZLING SNIPPETS to be steadied. The Stewards inquired into Jockey P. Harvey's use of the whip over the concluding stages. Jockey P. Harvey was found guilty to a charge under ARR.137A(2)(a) for striking CATALAQ across the head with his whip near the 100m was was subsquently fined $500.
