Stewards Comments

Whilst doing its preliminary REMLAP GLORY lost an off fore plate. After repeated unsuccessful attempts to re-plate REMLAP GLORY, the gelding raced bare in the off fore. LOOK OF SCCUESS was slow to begin. Racing to the 900m NOBLE SKY bumped the hindquarters of VOLSTAG causing that gelding to shift inwards and tighten PLAY DICE onto DOUBLE BLUE. At the 175m DOUBLE BLUE and CLEVER JEV brushed. When questioned regarding his riding of NOBLE SKY in the early part of the straight, Jockey Knuckey said that he had attempted to keep the gelding balanced before pulling the whip. When he did pull the whip NOBLE SKY did change stride over the concluding 75m.
