Stewards Comments

BIG BANK and BONZARA were slow into stride. VOODOO RAVER and BELCORP bumped at the start. POLISH FLYER made the crossing at the 1500m awkwardly and then raced ungenerously for a short distance. GOLDEN ARLI was held up behind the tiring CRIMSON LEO from the 450m to the 350m. BONZARA was impeded for a run between the 400m and the 325m. At the 100m POLISH FLYER was struck on the head by the whip of Jockey P. Carbery ( CHIEF WILD EAGLE ). Approaching the 50m LAUDARE shifted outwards inconveniencing CHIEF WILD EAGLE. Trainer Mr. B. Curtis reported that CRIMSON LEO returned with its tongue over the bit and he would now place a tongue-tie on the gelding for future starts.
