Stewards Comments

IRON STORM and EVER SO SPECIAL were slow to begin. NEIL AVEDON raced wide throughout. Approaching the 1000m PEPPER JACK lay outwards and was steadied off the heels of BILLABIDDY. DESERT DREAMER which was racing behind PEPPER JACK, veered outwards to avoid that gelding's heels. STEFF which was following was inconvenienced in this incident. TOPICO BAY pulled hard in the early and middle stages. Approaching the 650m EVER SO SPECIAL and STEFF bumped on several occasions. Shortly after this EVER SO SPECIAL shifted inwards crowding the tiring PEPPER JACK which had to ease. TOPICO BAY which was following was forced to restrain from this incident. Due to the poor performance, Trainer advised that TILLAMAN would now be sent for a spell.
