Stewards Comments

MINI PARK was slow to begin. Approaching the 1000m when the pace slowed, ZVORANTO steadied off NOT FADE AWAY. KINGSTON ALLEY which was racing behind these runners, was forced to steady. OH SO BLUE raced wide at the turn into the straight. MINI PARK was blocked for a clear run. FIREWALKING lay inwards over the final 75m. Trainer was questioned regarding KINGSTON ALLEY's improved performance. He advised that in his opinion, the filly had improved at its second start from a spell. That combined with the increased distance of 1400m had suited KINGSTON ALLEY. Trainer stated that KINGSTON ALLEY is a staying type of filly and he would attempt to increase its distances where possible at future starts. A Veterinary inspection of MORTAL FEAR revealed nothing amiss.
