THE FORCE dipped at the start. MEALUP BOY threw its head on jumping losing ground. ROBELLINO pulled hard in the early and middle stages and near the 1800m, shifted in abruptly tightening TUMERIC. SEA MOSS and DELRANCHO bumped at the 400m. THE GREAT WALTZ had a tendency to lay inwards over the final 200m and brushed DELRANCHO near the 150m and the 50m. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of GREAT FINGALL, Jockey Jason Brown could offer no explanation. Trainer will be interviewed in regard to GREAT FINGALL's immediate racing future. over the final 800m. STOP IN TIME was impeded for a run approaching the 200m. When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance of BRILLANT QUEEN, Trainer stated that in her opinion, the mare became unbalanced over the final 350m after being ridden along vigorously from the turn into the straight at Belmont Park on 26 August, 2000. Today she had instructed Apprentice to ride the mare in a more patient manner, which better suited BRILLIANT QUEEN. Trainer advised that HONEY JEWEL would now be sent for a spell. Following the disappointing performance of STAR PARTY, Trainer advised that the mare would now be sent for a spell.
