Stewards Comments

IRISH AIR and PETERSON bumped heavily on jumping. PAINTED SILVER threw its head in the air at the start losing ground. IDYLLIC LADY raced fiercely in the early stages and near the 1400m, veered outwards and dipped across the heels of REBATE. At the 100m BONNIE RONNIE shifted in several horses crowding BOLD ENDEAVOUR, PAINTED SILVER and POLISH FLYER. BONNIE RONNIE was then taken outwards inconveniencing IRISH AIR and PETERSON. PETERSON then raced wide until straightening. At the 575m IDYLLIC LADY rolled in crowding REBATE, which caused ZINZAN, which was racing on the fence, to be steadied. BOLD ENDEAVOUR had to be steadied when BONNIE RONNIE rolled in at the 500m. Stewards questioned Chiang Onn regarding his riding style in the straight. After considering the issue of interference near the 1000m, involving Apprentice Onn and the proficiency with which he rode BONNIE RONNIE out in the straight, Stewards instructed that Apprentice Onn must complete 12 satisfactory trials prior to being permitted to ride in a race.
