Stewards Comments

When questioned as to how AT A LOOSE END would be ridden today, Trainer's representative advised that the gelding, from its wide barrier, would be ridden off the pace. POLYGRAM and GOLD TOWN GIRL were slow into stride. Approaching the 1000m NERVOLA BELLE and MONKEY BUSINESS bumped. Passing the 900m SMOKEY ISLAND when being steadied, shifted outwards bumping AT A LOOSE END. MONKEY BUSINESS pulled hard in the early and middle stages and near the 800m, bumped NERVOLA BELLE. AT A LOOSE END was forced to race wide throughout and approaching the 600m, was bumped when NERVOLLA BELLE shifted out slightly. SMOKEY IRELAND was taken extremely wide on straightening to obtain a clear run. BEAUTIFUL BON BON lay outwards from THE 600M. TRAINER ADVISED THAT BEAUTIFUL BON BON WOULD NOW BE SENT FOR A spell. KENSINGTON PARK cast its off fore plate during running. Due to the disappointing performance of NERVOLLA BELLE, Trainer was advised that the filly would not be permitted to start in a race for a period of three weeks.
