Stewards Comments

Approaching the 1400m CARDINAL COLOURS shifted inwards causing ABOVE THE LAW to be taken in onto ADMIRAL LUSKIN which was steadied. DOM SEBASTIAN raced ungenerously in the early stages. PUGCIFY was held up for a short distance on straightening. ADMIRAL LUSKIN was steadied at the 275m and then taken outwards to obtain a clear run. Jockey was questioned regarding the reason he did not use the whip on OUR ANNABEL in the straight. He stated that he was advised by the mare's Trainer that OUR ANNABEL has a tendency to lay inwards when struck with the whip and for this reason, elected to ride the mare hands and heels only.
