Stewards Comments

MUSTANG TOMMY stood flatfooted at the start losing considerable ground. IRISH JACK was slow into stride. Near the 1150m CADUCEUS clipped the heels of REDAREB and blundered with Apprentice becoming unbalanced for some distance. IRISH JACK which was following, took evasive action and shifted out to avoid REDAREB. CADUCEUS then raced wide throughout. MONDO MAN pulled hard in the early and middle stages. CADUCEUS returned sore in the near fore. CHIEF WILD EAGLE cast its near fore plate during running.
