Stewards Comments

BALEEN LASS dwelt at the start losing ground. SHE'S STARKERS bounded on jumping and raced fiercely in the early stages with its head in the air. AMONGST THIEVES pulled hard in the early and middle stages. At the turn into the straight GOLDTRICE shifted outwards slightly bumping SHE'S STARKERS. GOLDTRICE was held up for a short distance near the 250m and again passing the 200m. AMONGST THIEVES was unable to obtain a clear run from the turn into the straight until approaching the 200m and shortly after this was steadied and taken inwards. AMONGST THIEVES, when making ground approaching the 50m, was steadied from the heels of ANN OF GLENEAGLES. Near the 200m DANGEROUS PLAY was accidentally struck over the head by the whip of Jockey ( NOVERRE ).
