Stewards Comments

THE BROWN HORSE was slow to begin. GRAND CAVALIER knuckled over on jumping then shifted out bumping heavily with COMMUNIQUE. Shortly after the start BLINDED stumbled and made contact with COMMUNIQUE. Approaching the 700m COMMUNIQUE commenced to race fiercely getting its head in the air. At the 700m HEAVY PRICE steadied when close to heels of KIM LISA and shortly after bumped on several occasions with URASTAT on its outside. Leaving the 700m HEAVY PRICE and URASTAT buffeted for a short distance with both horses becoming unbalanced. Approaching the 400m HEAVY PRICE when making ground, was buffeted between GRAND CAVALIER on its inside and URASTAT on its outside. On straightening GRAND CAVALIER lay outwards bumping HEAVY PRICE and shortly after lay inwards. SMART TALK had a tendency to lay out throughout. HEAVY PRICE returned with a laceration to the near hind.
