Stewards Comments

VECCHIO SCARPONE bumped at start. AEROLITH when struck with the whip passing the 150m shifted inwards quickly. OLD BOOMER pulled hard in the early and middle stages. POLVERYZE steadied passing the 300m, and when making ground quickly in the straight was blocked over the final 150m. GAELIC GOLD bumped at start. Trainer when questioned regarding the apparent improved performance of the mare stated that the mare had been better suited over the 1600m today and with the addition of blinkers had raced more genuinely. Trainer further advised that it would be her intention to race the mare over middle distances in the near future and it woould be her intention to instruct that the mare lead if possible. SUPER CHANT was slow into stride. TUNGSTEN HALO steadied passing the 150m. WATCH ME DANZ had a tendency to over race in the early and middle stages and rolled inwards passing the 300m.
