Stewards Comments

POLEVAULTER and PRINCE GEORGIOUS bumped at the start and shortly afterwards PRINCE GEORGIOUS bumped OFF AND RUNNING. PHILOCTETES over raced in the early stages and passing the 900m was steadied outwards off the heels of KARA KARA. HOLD THE CHARM when racing keenly, took the 800m turn awkwardly. Passing the 700m BRAVE DEMUS struck the running rail and shifted outwards bumping PHILOCTETES. KING LOMOND had a tendency to race keenly in the straight. BLAZING MORN lay outwards over the final 250m. Inside the 100m KING LOMOND was accidently struck on the head by the whip of another rider. When questioned Trainer reported that loose end had worked harder to get to the front at its previous start and in his opinion this had contributed to the performance. It was his intention to have LOOSE END ridden with cover in future starts and he would also consider making gear changes.
