Stewards Comments

ELLAND ISLE raced wide throughout. BIG BANK shifted out on straightening and bumped CLASSIC PIECE. CLASSIC PIECE then lay inwards nearing the 200m inconveniencing BIG BANK. When questioned on the unplaced performance of IMPAIRE, Jockey advised that after being caught wide in the early stages he considered his best option was to take the mare forward to lead. Trainer advised that IMPAIRE had been unsuited by the tactics and in future would be ridden with a sit. Trainer was advised that the poorly performed ELLAND ISLE would have to trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards before racing again. She advised that she would not continue with the mare's preperation.
