Stewards Comments

COSMIC KID and MOVE TO AVOCA bumped at the start. Near the 1100m LANJINSKY steadied from the heels of DUBLORNUTHIN, BEST BUYS and MAGIC OF KINGSTON which were following were inconvenienced. Near the 1000m TWINFIM shifted in , with MAGIC OF KINGSTON, which was racing on the inside, having to be steadied. Near the 800m RURAL THUNDER, which was over racing, got its head up and shifted in bumping BEST BUYS which struck the running rail. Near the 100m TWINFIM shifted out to obtain a clear running RURAL THUNDER wider on the track which caused PYGMALION to be steadied and lose ground. A veterinary examination of the poorly performed PILOTS revealed no abnormalities. Trainer was advised that due to poor performance, PILOTS would be required to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again. MOVE TO AVOCA bled from both nostrils. As the gelding had previously bled on 07.04.02, Trainer was advised that under AAR.53A that all present and future nominations for MOVE TO AVOCA would be refused.
