Stewards Comments

CORPORATE NEPTUNE underwent a post race veterinary examination, revealing the gelding to have filling to the off fore fetlock. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness before racing again. DARES SALAAM was fractious in the barrier and subsequently slow to begin losing many lengths from the field in the early stages. Trainer advised that it was his intention to place blinkers on the gelding in an attempt to improve its racing characteristics. WATER CARRIER raced wide throughout.
