Stewards Comments

ECHIDNA shifted inwards and bumped approaching the 1400m. UMATAKA was fractious in the barrier. When questioned regarding the poor performance, Jockey was at a loss to explain the gelding's poor run today. Trainer advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell. ASCOT EXPRESS bumped approaching the 1400m. BEAUTELLO Trainer when questioned regarding the improved performance of the gelding, felt that the gelding had appreciated the senior rider today and the increase in distance. RUSSIAN GEM was slow into stride.
