Stewards Comments

COUNTRY BORN was slow to begin and then raced wide from the 700m. MY ISLAND HOME was held up from on straightening until near the 50m. LOOK OF SUCCESS was unable to obtain a clear run at any stage in the straight. KNIGHTLIKE returned with an injury to the near-fore tendon. Trainer was advised that KNIGHTLIKE would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness before racing again. He advised that the gelding would now be retired.
