Stewards Comments

SECRET MENTOR was momentarily held up near the 200m and then shifted outwards and bumped. MY PASS eased to the rear of the field shortly after the start to obtain a position closer to the rail, then lay outwards throughout. PAKASTAR rolled outwards passing the 400m, bumped near the 200m. RAPHO was impeded for a short distance passing the 200m and shortly after was taken outwards to obtain a clear run. FORCE ON COURSE was slow into stride. JULIE'S SMILE was slow into stride. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the mare, Jockey stated that the mare had never felt comfortable throughout and continually changed stride in running. Trainer advised that he had only recently taken over the training of the mare and was of the opinion that the mare may need a spell. Trainer was advised that the mare would not be permitted to race for a period of three weeks. SANDS OF DEE steadied near the 400m.
