Stewards Comments

SECRET LINK bounded at the start. Was inconvenienced approaching 1200m and veered outwards. Bumped on straightening. BANDOLERO steadied passing 900m. Was blocked for a run approaching 400m until passing 200m. CRYSTAL CLEAR blundered and nearly dislodged jockey approaching 1200m. In this incident the jockey lost the use of his off side iron and was placed in extreme difficulty. Was eased down after this and took no competitve part in the race. MAKE MINE SCOTCH was impeded approaching 1200m. Was inconvenienced and carried wide shortly after. Bumped on straightening. A post race Veterinary Examination revealed the gelding to have returned with an elevated heart rate. SUAVE LADY steadied shortly after the start. OLD BEAU was bumped and carried outwards near 1200m.
