Stewards Comments

HEAPS OF STYLE A Veterinary inspection at the barrier revealed the gelding to be lame in the near fore and was subsequently withdrawn by order of the Stewards acting on Veterinary advice. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness before racing or trialling again. IN THE CLEAR jumped extremely awkwardly and shortly afterwards shifted outwards and bumped, Jockey lost his near side stirrup iron in this incident which he did not regain until the 900m placing him at a disadvantage. TAMOSHI raced wide over the final 500m. GENEVA CONVENTION bounded at the start. BAAN RIM PA bumped shortly after the start, brushed on several occasions over the final 75m. DEVIL'S SPEED brushed the running rail near the 800m, was blocked for a clear run at the turn into the straight, brushed on several occasions over the final 75m.
