HANDSOME COLOURS bumped shortly after the start, veered outwards quickly at the 150m. Trainer stated that he would give consideration to placing blinkers on the gelding in an endeavour to improve its racing manner. BROADCASTING was slow into stride, bumped heavily approaching the 600m, steadied for several strides passing the 500m. MY PRICE lay outwards at the turn into the straight then commenced to lay inwards near the 200m. Trainer was advised that due to its erratic racing manner, the gelding would have to trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards before racing again. AFFIRMED PRICE shied and veered outwards quickly near the 200m, returned with a laceration to the near hock area. ARISTOCRAT LAD bounded on jumping losing ground. JOSIE'S SHOW buffeted shortly after the start. TRICONYA bumped at start. ACE IN FLIGHT bumped at start, raced wide throughout. Trainer was advised that due to the poor performance that the gelding must trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards before racing again. BROWN ARCHER raced wide throughout. LAKESIDE RHYTHM raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages. OKEHAMPTON BOY bumped at start and again shortly after, raced keenly in the early and middle stages, fell and dislodged Jockey passing the 75m, returned lame in the near hind. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness before racing or trialling again. VIE FOR VANITY was severey inconvenienced at the 150m. SUDDEN RECOVERY shifted inwards and bumped at start, lay inwards and bumped heavily approaching the 600m, blundered near the 200m almost dislodging Jockey who lost his irons for the remainder of the race. VICTORY SIGN was slow to begin, was severely inconvenienced passing the 75m.
