Stewards Comments

BREMER BAY when questioned jockey stated that the filly had hung outwards from barrier rise and approaching 1400m he had difficulty keeping the filly on the track. The filly continued to hung outwards and raced wide throughout, on straightening, when pulling the whip, he fumbled and dropped it. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer stated that the filly had been severely interfered with at its previous start and this may have impacted on the performance. It is now his intention to spell the filly. AMICA BELLA bumped at start. ON THE WHISTLE bumped at start. SPECIAL SPICE over raced early and middle stages, steadied at 1500m, bumped and restrained at 1400m. WHISPER VISTA steadied and threw its head at 1500m. KILDARE LASS steadied approaching winning post first time.
