Stewards Comments

CHAFFERS bumped at start. CELEBRITY LINE bumped passing 1050m and bumped approaching 950m. CERTIFIED bumped shortly after start, when questioned regarding on his riding over the concluding stages, jockey explained that after bumped held up in the early part of the straight when getting clear near 200m, he rode the gelding along with the whip, however in his opinion the gelding did not respond and accordingly he elected to ride hands and heels. HALOTEC bumped at start and bumped shortly after start. ROYAL INCA bumped at start and bumped shortly after start, bumped passing 1050m, tightened and clipped heels approaching 950m and returned lame. A post race Veterinary examination revealled the gelding to have returned lame in both forelegs. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness before racing or trialing again. LA DANZAR bumped at start. PINK RIBBON over raced early stages and raced wide from 600m. VAIN SKITE raced wide throughout. SUN TAN bounded on jumping losing ground.
