Stewards Comments

REWARD bumped near the 300m. ARMY PRINCE fractious behind barrier and was found to have a laceration to the near nostril prior to start. After undergoing a Veterinary examination the gelding was declared fit to start. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Bumped over the concluding stages. BICTON raced ungenerously and dipped from heels near the 1400m. Lay inwards in the straight. Bumped over the concluding stages. OSTLER struck the barrier on jumping. Bumped near the 300m. SPUN GLASS had a tendency to lay outwards throughout. Returned having cast its off fore plate during running. HUNKA GOLD refused to jump taking no part in the race. Trainer was advised the gelding would have to complete two consecutive trials in the Metropolitan area to the satisfaction of Stewards before racing again.
