SENATE LEASE slow into stride. WHO DID IT bumped at the 800m. When questioned regarding the performance, Jockey stated that he was instructed to settle the gelding off the pace and after obtaining his postion the gelding had received a trouble free run throughout and had been disappointing by ot running on as well as expected in the straight. Trainer advised that he was satisfied with the gelding's performance given that it was having its first race start in Western Australia and that it had cast a near fore plate early in the race. He advised that it was now his intention to place blinkers on the gelding and race over an increased distance at its next start. HENNESSY GOLD raced wide througout. DANCING TYCOON had a tendency to overrace in the early and middle stages. Bumped at 800m. DURHAM GIRL lay outwards on straightening. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that the mare would now be sent for a short let up. BELLCINA commenced awkwardly. MR O'MALLEY raced keenly approaching the 800m.
