Stewards Comments

ARRIAN raced with head in the air for a short distance passing 1200m, when questioned regarding his riding jockey stated that the gelding had not been suited by the lack of pace. He further explained that he had elected not to lead, as in his opinion based on the gelding's previous performances, this would have been detrimental to the performance of the gelding. Trainer was of a similar opinion. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Due to poor performance trainer was advised that the gelding would have to trial before racing again.
