Stewards Comments

NICCOLO slow into stride. CELEB A post race Veterinary examination revealed nothing amiss, stood down for three weeks. QUALITY ROW slow into stride and raced wide throughout. PRETTY SMIK when questioned jockey advised the filly was fractious in barrier and after being slow to begin settled further back than anticipated, resulting in the filly resenting dirt coming back in her face. Trainer advised that it would be his intention to instruct the rider to attempt to lead on the filly, if possible, in future starts. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the filly to have sustained a laceration to the outside of its near hind cannon.
