Stewards Comments

ROCKY KWILA jockey reported that the gelding had failed to handle the track conditions, trainer confirmed these comments. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. SURLENA bumped at start, raced keenly getting its head in the air near 1000m. Rider reported the mare had failed to handle the track condition. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities, trainer advised that the mare now would be spelled. REGAL WHISPER held up from on straightening until 325m. FRAUDULENT MISS A post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in off fore knee. Trainer was advised Veterinary Certificate of Soundness required before racing or trialling again. MILLFIELD MISS bumped shortly after start. FROZEN ASSETS eased near 700m. MONSOON MASTER bumped shortly after start. INNISCORA raced wide early and middle stages. WESTERN RULER withdrawn by Stewards when trainer advised that the gelding had sustained an injury to off hind fetlock. Trainer advised that the gelding would require Veterinary Certificate of Soundness before racing or trialling again.
