Stewards Comments

LOOSE END lay outwards from the 1000m. CHANTING raced greenly in the straight. WOODLORE bumped at start. CORPORATE HEIR commenced awkwardly. When questioned regarding the poor performance, Jockey explained that the gelding had not felt comfortable at any stage. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be slow to recover. Trainer advised that he would monitor the gelding over the next few days and report any findings to the Stewards. SERPY GIRL following the poor performance Trainer advised that the mare would now be retired. I'M COMING HOME reared at start, losing ground. ISOMETRIC cast off hind plate en route to the barrier. As the plate could not be refitted permission was given for the gelding to race bare on that foot.
