Stewards Comments

ABBY DEE held up from on straightening until near 225m and then taken outwards and bumped. GET AHEAD bumped at start and raced wide throughout. OLD PHONEYS jumped awkwardly and then bumped shortly after. EASINESS A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities, when questioned regarding the disappointing performance jockey stated that the mare had travelled well in the early stages and had been under pressure from 500m. Trainer stated that the mare had not backed up from its previous start nine days ago and was unsuited to the 1400m. Trainer further advised that she would now start the mare over shorter distances. Trainer was advised that the mare would not be permitted to start in a race for a period of three weeks. JUNGLE JAZZ bumped near 225m. SHOOTERS ALL ROUND bumped shortly after start and raced wide throughout. SMOKE BUSH over raced in the middle stages, crowded and steadied near 175m.
