Stewards Comments

BEAUCRETON slow to begin and then bumped. Steadied off heels and lost ground at the 1000m. CROWN JUSTICE jumped awkwardly and bumped. Steadied off heels and shifted inwards at the 1000m. GOLD ASSET held up for clear running approaching and leaving the 200m. GRAND MERLOT raced wide throughout. Lay inwards in the straight with the rider being unable to fully test the gelding. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that she would have the gelding fully vetted and advise the Stewards of any findings. The results of this examination revealed the gelding to have slight soreness in the near fore heel and she further advised that it was her intention to continue with its current racing campaign. JOLLY LAD bumped at the start and raced keenly in the early stages. Steadied approaching the 1000m. MOONDANCE MAGIC brushed at the 100m. SPICY BUSINESS bumped at the start.
