Stewards Comments

GRAND SANCTION slow to begin and raced wide throughout. SHE'S SMASHING raced wide throughout. BRISONIC bumped at start. SWEET SPICE momentarily impeded leaving the 200m. DANCE FINALE jumped awkwardly and raced fiercely in the early and middle stages. When questioned regarding the gelding compounding badly passing the 500m, Trainer stated that in his opinion the gelding was better suited to races of a shorter distance as it can settle further off the speed. He further stated he would endeavour to restrict the gelding to races of no further than 1200m and engage a senior rider in future. DOMINEER bumped at the start. Checked and blundered almost dislodging its rider at the 300m. Rider was cautioned for not making an earlier attempt to avoid the tiring runner in advance of him and was further advised that he is expected to be more aware in future to avoid interference.
