Stewards Comments

RESCUER when questioned regarding the performance rider advised that although slightly impeded on straightening and laying inwards in the straight, the gelding had failed to run on as well as expected and felt jaded. Trainer stated that it was his intention to race the gelding over a lesser distance and engage the services of a senior rider for future racing. ALIBI BAY threw its head shortly after start, over raced in the early and middle stages. MAJOR KEY raced keenly passing 1200m and got its head in the air at 1100m, crowded and impeded near 250m.
