Stewards Comments

MISS DANSK steadied and bumped near 1000m. Rider reported that the filly was under pressure from 700m. Trainer reported that upon arrival on course the mare was showing minor signs of being in season and this may have contributed to the disappointing performance. Trainer also advised that it was his intention to monitor the mare and following this consideration would be given to sending the mare for a spell. Trainer advised that the filly had returned to the stables in good condition following its disappointing performance. Trainer further advised that he would now treat the mare to ensure that it doesnt remain in season and that he would have the filly ridden further back in the field and to the outside of other runners if possible at its next start to improve its performance. ROYAL DRIVE bumped at 450m. GRAND CHIENNE jockey was questioned regarding his riding over the concluding stages and stated that he had not been able to ride the filly out fully over the final two strides due to being close to heels of another runner. HELLO DOCTOR bumped wider at 450m.
