Stewards Comments

BON JOVI raced wide throughout. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near fore. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness before racing or trialling again. LORD LOCHINVA raced ungenerously near the 750m getting its head in the air. A TOUCH OF CLASS steadied and commenced to overrace at the 800m and then shifted outwards getting its head in the air becoming unbalanced. to race wide for the remainder of the race. KOH SAMUI steadied passing the 800m, throwing its head in the air and raced ungenerously. MIJIKELY GIRL dwelt at the start, losing considerable ground. Trainer advised that the mare would be restricted to outer country racing in the near future with a view to it being retired shortly. Under those circumstances Stewards took no direct action.
