Stewards Comments

DRIVEN TO VICTORY bumped and carried outwards near the 250m. CERTIFIED bumped at the start. Mis-strode on straightening. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have suffered an injury to the near fore tendon. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to trialling and would have to trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards before racing again. Trainer advised that consideration would be given to retiring the gelding. MERRY MONARCH impeded on straightening. MOYTAY bumped at the start. Held up from the 400m and near the 250m was steadied outwards to obtain a clear run making contact with another runner. HEADBANGER bumped shortly after the start. KINKY MISS buffeted on jumping. PET BALL had a tendency to race ungenerously when leading in the early and middle stages. SOOTY THE SWEEP raced wide throughout. Inconvenienced and obliged to be steadied outwards to avoid the heels of a tiring runner in so doing mis-strode.
