Stewards Comments

AL DIDNAVADAD buffeted on straightening. BLEVVO lay outwards near the 1200m. CA CAO raced wide throughout and held tight on straightening. CAUGHT COURTING pulled hard in the early stages. Steadied and obliged to shift outwards when racing fiercely passing the 1600m. Bumped near the 400m. DUNDALLY bumped passing the 1800m. Bumped near the 400m. LORD ERIN raced fiercely for a majority of the race and tired considerably over the final 400m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with an elevated heart rate and to be lame in the off fore. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness before racing or trialling again. MASTER MINX restrained for several strides near the 600m so as to avoid the heels of a tiring runner. OUR GREY HALO near the 400m steadied outwards and bumped. QUINTANELLA bumped passing the 1800m. Eased and threw its head in the air passing the 1600m. Bumped on straightening. Returned with a laceration to the near fore cannon. UNIVERSAL WARRIOR returned with a laceration to the near fore cannon. BESWINGING commenced to tire from the 700m and crowded passing the 600m. THERMO KING bumped near the 400m.
