Stewards Comments

KIWI HOMBRE severely hampered at the 75m when attempting to avoid the fallen runner. THIS'LL BE THE DAY jumped awkwardly. KINGSTON CLASSIC bumped at the start. Fell and dislodged rider at the 75m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with superficial lacerations and abrasions to the off hind cannon and chest. MAXIMUS MUNIUS bumped at the 300m. Checked at the 75m. REAL HALO raced wide in the early stages. SARAH'S SPIRIT jumped awkwardly. BARNEY BOY knuckled shortly after the start. Bumped at the 700m. GREAT CYRUS bumped at the start. MOYTAY raced keenly leaving the 700m and as a result steadied and bumped. Restrained from heels at the 500m. Trainer subsequently reported that the gelding had returned with a laceration to the outside of the near fore joint and swelling to the near fore knee. These injuries have since received treatment and it is her intention not to start the gelding in a race for a period of two weeks. RAW METAL restrained and shifted outwards when racing keenly at the 500m. Held tight rounding the home turn and then bumped at the 300m.
